Primary Duties:

• Effectively maintain and organize multiple service orders and logs.
• Required to be able to work on multiple cases simultaneously.
• Provide exceptional service to clients from the initial support incident through resolution. Clear communication throughout this process is required.
• Ability to prioritize tasks with good judgement
• IT procedures and policies are properly followed and maintained
• Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues – being able to identify the issue and close the case.

Primary Qualifications:

• Working Knowledge of Email Protocols and traffic flow
• Nice to have: Experience with Azure, AWS or GCP
• Working knowledge of backup applications like Veeam, Commvault, etc
• Post-Secondary education with a minimum of 6-8 years related experience
• VMWare, Hyper-V, and other virtualization technology
• Cisco ASA, FirePower, PaloAlto, Umbrella, AMP, and other security platforms/firewalls
• Microsoft Office 365 and G-Suite, on-premise Exchange and email security (ProofPoint and other email security platforms)
• Familiarity to collaboration tools like Zoom, WebEx and Teams
• Occasional off-hours work to meet IT system demands
• Experience with VPNs (AnyConnect, GlobalProtect, OpenVPN)
• Experience with technologies like Citrix, and other remote access solutions
• Logical thinking and problem solving skills. Being able to isolate problems down to the appropriate layers (i.e. Network, Application, Server or Client).
• Customer Service and problem resolution skills
• Working Knowledge of Client/Server architecture
• Microsoft Office and Productivity Suites
• Ability to Collaborate and work well with associates
• Microsoft Windows Server (2008 R2, 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022), Active Directory, GPO, File Server, DNS, DHCP, Domain Controllers, etc
• Microsoft Windows Desktop (7, 10, 11)

The following are not required but preference would be given to candidates that possess any of these additional skills:

• Experience with server clusters
• Experience with SAN networks and technologies
• Certifications from software/hardware vendors
• Experience in an multi-tenant hosting environment
• VoIP experience
