The Data as a Service team strives to provide industry-leading solutions to data engineering problems for Workday developers and Workday customers. About The Role

As a Senior Software Development Engineer on the Data as a Service team, you will

• Provide critical feedback for the team's technical designs, architecture, and decisions
• Lead and deliver impactful solutions for some of today's hardest data engineering problems
• Influence the direction of our product vision and strategy with technical expertise and context
• Get mentored by other team members to support your career growth
• Mentor other team members and support their career growth

About You

Basic Qualifications:

• 6 Years of experience maintaining and supporting Production software
• 6 Years of experience using programming languages to deliver software solutions

Other Qualifications:

• 4 Years of experience building Production quality software with public cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) and Infrastructure as Code (AWS CloudFormation, etc.)
• 4 Years of experience using Agile methodologies
• 4 Years of experience building Production quality software with object-oriented programming languages
• 4 Years of experience with machine learning and data science technologies
• 4 Years of experience building and maintaining robust, scalable, and self-service data platforms
• 4 Years of experience providing technical mentorship to others

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The base pay range for the primary location of this job is listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, future potential and internal pay parity. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $160,000 - $240,000
