Senior Software Developer, Mobile

As the Senior Software Developer, Mobile you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our first mobile application for Pixieset. In this position, you will take ownership of features and product initiatives for both iOS and Android platforms, from conception to production release and long-term support. Additionally, you will contribute ideas from a product-focused engineering perspective and collaborate with talented developers and dedicated cross-functional teams. Your Impact

• Provide guidance and mentorship to other developers
• Create and maintain applications that are optimized, beautiful, easy to use, and highly scalable
• Design and implement mobile applications for iOS and Android in Ionic, Vue.js, and PHP
• Work with stakeholders to define requirements
• Collaborate with Design and development teams to ensure application designs are feasible and align with project goals
• Participate in code reviews; introduce and uphold code quality, conventions, and best practices
• Research and integrate new technologies to drive our development process forward

Role Requirements

• Familiar with basic data structures and algorithms
• Experience guiding and mentoring other developers
• Experience with PHP and GraphQL is preferred
• Experience releasing a mobile app and strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns and design principles
• Experience with relational database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and Redis
• Solid understanding of web technologies including HTTP, RESTful services, and cloud platforms such as AWS
• 4+ years of experience in mobile application development
• Self-motivated, collaborative, strong communication skills, and strong sense of product design
• 2+ years of experience with either Ionic or Vue.js, or 3+ years with React Native
