Senior Shopify & Web Developer

If you are intellectually curious, enjoy building transformative web and mobile solutions, and can spare a few hours each week, this part-time role could be for you.

We are looking for a detail-driven, analytical and creative team member to work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment. You will organize existing and future product designs, features and integrations, and have a strong background in Shopify and React based web / mobile development.

This is a fully remote, equity-only, part-time role (6-8 hours), and you'll be working with a high caliber international team.

Requirements

• 3+ years of React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid experience.
• Expert knowledge of Shopify/Shopify Plus theme modification
• Fluency in interpreting and working with third-party APIs or microservices.
• JIRA/Confluence.
• Fluency with version control and staged deployments.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide timely updates.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Strong understanding of responsive web design, UX/UI principles, and SEO best practices.
• Figma/Adobe.
• Ability to work and efficiently in teams and independently.
• 3+ years experience developing Shopify websites with a portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Agile experrience.

Responsibilities

• Drive secure SDLC coding best practices (including QA testing, pen testing, backups etc.)
• Ensure data is handled in full compliance with regulations (e.g. GDPR).
• Integrate third party applications and services.
• Provide regular updates.
• Build and maintain Shopify sites that are responsive, user-friendly and visually appealing.
