Senior Frontend Web/JS Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Web Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, designers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Write automated tests to ensure quality, prevent regressions, and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reliable, and scalable web applications in JavaScript and other languages.
• Serve as a point of contact and subject matter expert for senior stakeholders and other team members.
• Participate actively in Agile Scrum methodology, contributing to sprint planning, and delivering high-quality work within designated timelines.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve development practices.
• Develop intuitive, attractive user interfaces that enhance user experience, using front-end frameworks such as Vue.js, Angular, and React.
• Implement real-time data streaming on the frontend via WebSockets.
• Collaborate with Backend Developers, Designers, and Product Managers to deliver compelling user-facing products.
• Build asynchronous applications using AJAX and RESTful APIs, working with data in JSON and XML formats.
• Write clean, modular, well-documented code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Act as a mentor and advisor to junior developers, promoting knowledge sharing to strengthen the team.
• Develop reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Optimize application performance, ensure high availability, and maintain cross-browser compatibility.
• Conduct code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members.
• Create rapid prototypes to validate design concepts with stakeholders and customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Software Developer.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering.
• Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong mentoring and coaching abilities to assist junior developers.
• Capacity to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
• Continual learning mindset and the ability to keep up with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Technical Skills

• Extensive knowledge and experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with project management and bug-tracking tools such as JIRA.
• Proficiency in building user interfaces using HTML5 and CSS3, including experience with preprocessors such as Sass.
• Familiarity with mapping libraries such as Leaflet is highly desirable.
• Experience in implementing WebSocket for real-time applications.
• Familiarity with Python is highly beneficial.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, handling authentication, and ensuring data security.
• Practical experience with Docker and containerization for the development, management, and deployment of applications.
• Proficiency in version control systems like Git, with experience in collaborating with team members and tracking changes effectively.
• Knowledge and experience in backend development using PHP or Node.js is a significant advantage.
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with frontend frameworks such as Vue.js, Angular, and React.
• Basic experience with Linux/server administration is a plus.
• Experience with build tools such as Webpack and Vite.
• Understanding of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
• Familiarity with integrating third-party services.
