Senior Service It Operations Analyst – Vulnerability Management

Role: Senior Service IT Operations Analyst (Windows Server, Azure, and Cisco networking)

Role Type: Permanent Full Time

Pay Rate: $120,000 + bonus + benefits

Working Structure: Ottawa, ON location is preferred (working in office 1 day per week) but open to Toronto/Montreal as 2nd option (as they have offices there too)

They are looking for a Senior Service IT Operations Analyst – Vulnerability Management who will be joining the Tech. Operations & Services team to perform service delivery management functions and provide guidance to external/internal infrastructure/security managed service providers. (Internal IT Vulnerability Management Practice, making sure vulnerabilities are resolved in compliance for corporate policies.

This person will have experience with, and be hands-on with technology domains (in-scope) and be able to lead multiple service management functions (configuration, incident, change, problem management). The role also occasionally requires after hour’s on call rotation - be able to work overtime and occasional non-standard shifts (after-hours/weekends) every 4-6 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the IT Vulnerability Management program within the IT Operations team (item tracking, driving resolution, and operational impact assessments)

• Support the Configuration Management within ServiceNow(instance)

• Provide SME expertise on core technical systems (Windows Server, Azure, Cisco Networking, etc.)

• Interact with senior leaders/ architects and provide expertise in assessing risks and impact of vulnerabilities found on any infrastructure

• Triage alerts/activate the Incident Response process (business hours or after hours or if on-call and required)

Requirements to be successful in this role:

• 7+ years' experience in IT infrastructure tech such as server, storage, network, cloud, help desk, etc.

• Working knowledge of Windows Server, Azure, and Cisco networking

• 3+ years' experience in Service Delivery Management in an outsourced IT infrastructure model, including providing oversight to MSP (Managed Service Providers)

• Experience using Tenable Nessus (including running scans and interpreting reports)

• Knowledge of ITSM IT Service management systems

• ITIL v4 & Agile Certifications (ITIL Foundations, CSM, DASM, CSPO, etc.)

• Completion of Azure & Microsoft exams (AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ- 800, AZ-801, etc.)

• Certifications in security auditing and compliance (CISA, etc.)
