Senior Quality Assurance Tester

Role: Sr. QA Tester

Duration: 1-years

Location: 100% remote (preferred Ottawa area)

***Must have Reliability clearance or have lived in Canada for 5 consecutive years***

Specific Project Requirements

• AGILE/Kanban Product development experience
• Experience communicating test defects to 3rd party vendors
• Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar Agile project management software
• Experience testing as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) domain specific product

Top Skills Required:

· Quality Assurance Controls and Testing experience in CRM domain

· Ability to understand business/technical requirements and convert them to Test plan, Test cases user flow charts.

· Knowledge of testing End to End system integration from source applications through to data flows into the Datawarehouse and beyond

Other Skills Required:

• Experience with using a defect tracking system
• Excellent investigative, problem solving and analytical skills with ability to translate broad, strategic intent into tactical plans and directions
• Broad testing knowledge and practical experience of industry standards, tools and techniques
• Experience adapting to change quickly, multi-tasking and working under tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills – oral and written; ability to communicate with both business and technical audiences
• Ongoing interaction with business analyst team to acquire clarification of business requirements of new and /or existing functionality
• 5-7 years’ experience in Testing or QA activities
• Excellent knowledge of the proper creation and maintenance of test data
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
• Excellent time management, task planning and prioritization skills
• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of all phases of the testing lifecycle

Assets:

• Testing experience on the Frontend and backend testing applications (Web based applications)
• Experience with Oracle Siebel CRM and Universal Customer Master (UCM)
