Job Title: Network Automation Engineer (Linux)

Client: Algorithmic Trading firm

Salary: $120,000 CAD - $250,000 CAD + bonuses (depending on experience)

Tech: Linux, Python, CCNP/CCIE/CCSP, ELK Grafana, Prometheus, Syslog, VPNs, SSL, IPSEC, Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Security, Automation, Ansible/Puppet/Salt, Containers

• You'll be working on the most complex network infrastructure in Montreal in a small-ish business, you will learn far more than you could at bigger firms where pigeon-holing is commonplace.
• The Networking team is critical for the consistent operation of the trading firm, where you will be exposed to one of the fastest, most secure network infrastructures in the world.

The right candidate will have:

• Automation experience - Python, Ansible/Puppet/Salt etc, Containers
• Network design/architecture experience
• Exceptional Networking understanding in a large/highly performant infrastructure
• Security certifications
• Relevant certifications - CCNP, CCIE etc

Nice to have:

• Financial experience
• Multi-threading, distributed systems, low latency experience
