Senior Devops Engineer Jobs

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with a passion for building products, who can lead complex infrastructure development, and who loves to work in small teams. This role will work across several various projects internally and will be leaned on for leadership and direction when it comes to DevOps best practices

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with others on the project to brainstorm about the best way to tackle a complex technological infrastructure, security, or development problem.

Introduce processes, tools, and methodologies to balance needs throughout the software development life cycle, from coding and deployment to maintenance and updates.

Planning the team structure, activities, and involvement in project management activities.

Coordination and communication within the team and with customers

Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools

Mentoring and guiding the team members

Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs

Being proactive - Actively troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing and production, catching and solving issues before launch* Maintaining CI/CD pipelines while keeping them stable and efficient.

Qualifications:

5+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer

2+ years of experience working on multiple projects/products

Strong in AWS EKS, GitLab, Terraform

Extensive experience working on AWS such as Lambda, API Gateways, CloudWatch, ECS, Kinesis, and Kafka

Deep knowledge of multiple cloud platforms, advanced automation techniques, extensive experience in architecting and scaling the infrastructure, and a strong understanding of DevOps best practices and methodologies

Understanding of microservices architecture

Basic Elastic Search Knowledge

Experience in building and automating CI/CD pipelines, and good IAC Knowledge

Strong at documenting work

Good Communication skills

Very detail oriented and a self-starter
