Responsibilities

• Create Tables, Views, Indexes and Sequences
• Develop T-SQL/PL/SQL Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, SQL statements in Oracle & SQL Server environments
• Build databases depicting the physical design
• Design stable, reliable and effective databases
• Act as right hand to the Database Administration Manager – conduct code reviews, communicate with stakeholders and oversee project operations
• Prepare development estimates and design documents
• Liaise with developers to improve applications and establish best practices

Requirements

• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Full lifecycle experience (Requirements, Design, Development, and Implementation) in at least one Business Intelligence project preferred
• In-depth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security, and monitoring)
• Database tuning experience, database integration design and implementation, and management of database projects
• Strong grasp of advanced SQL writing and query tuning/optimization
• 4-6 years’ experience in a commercial environment, or equivalent
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in Database Schema creation and management
• Proven development experience in T-SQL and PL/SQL Programming in Oracle19c/21c in a Linux/Windows environment
• Willingness to participate as part of an on-call rotation schedule
