Role: Senior Data Engineer/lead - Montreal/NYC – Fulltime

Title: AVP/VP/D

Location: Wissen Technology, Montreal, CA OR NYC NY (Day 1 Onsite/Hybrid)- 3 days/week onsite required – No Exceptions

Experience: 10 – 15 Years.

Your required skills:

• Prior exposure to working in financial services
• Work with cloud and data engineers to develop new features on the data platform
• Your educational qualifications could include
• Define data quality, governance and lineage on the different data sets / domains you work with.
• In this role, you will
• Experience with data modeling tools like ERWIN or others
• Exposure to reporting / visualization tool like Power BI / Tableau
• Exposure to cloud data warehouse
• Strong skills in Database
• Work with the business and operations stakeholders to define and test new data products / reports / dashboards for key business users
• Work with business and operations stakeholders to run a data platform for a business line
• To do well in this role, you will need
• Exposure to Spark, SNowflake, Datbricks
• Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science
• Solid experience in Data Warehouses, Data Lakes
• Hands on experience with Java

Your Education and Experience:
