Senior Associate, Bpo Fund Accounting

The Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) department is a client-specific team which services an investment office that manages the portfolios of endowments and private foundations with a multi-asset class investment strategy. We are responsible for supporting the client’s internal Treasury, Fund Accounting, and Client Accounting groups. Our team of knowledgeable professionals functions as an extension of the client’s own team within their environment, complementing and seamlessly integrating with their existing operations. A list of key responsibilities include the following:

• Evaluating cash availability and recording daily activity
• Helping with projects to streamline review and reporting of different performance analytics
• Resolving data and interface support issues based on a developing understanding of the overall life cycle of a trade
• Collaborating with Finance and Operations teams within the client environment
• Preparing schedules for financial reporting and regulatory requirements
• Utilizing instrument-specific knowledge to identify and resolve open break items between client and broker/custodian
• Ensuring client capital activity and related payments are rendered and accounted for
• Performing daily reviews of portfolio valuations, performance, and deal flow activity
• Assisting team members in responding to client and internal requests
• Preparing and reviewing daily/month-end pricing to maintain investor portfolio valuations
• Producing custom client reporting

We are keen to hear from individuals with previous experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role. Computer skills, technical aptitude, problem solving ability & effective communication skills are required for the role.

A relevant designation in accounting, finance or management is an advantage but not essential.
