About Our Client


Our client, located in Vaughan, is hiring an Accounting Supervisor to add to their team on a permanent basis.

Duties And Responsibilities


  • Prepare monthly entries, maintain, and perform analysis for various accounts, work closely with external and internal auditors on internal controls questions, issues and deficiencies
  • Responsible for supervising all aspects of the monthly forecasting, monthly and quarterly variance analysis of actuals to forecasts and budgets, and annual budget preparation
  • Supervise and/or prepare reports to support external financial reporting
  • Assist with budget preparation
  • Monthly analysis and reporting of certain accounts, including monthly and quarterly reporting


Education, Experience And Qualifications


  • Experience with large ERP systems
  • CPA Accounting Designation
  • Experience with corporate reporting requirements, external/internal audits
  • Strong technical accounting skills and costing
  • Proven ability to embrace and encourage teamwork
  • Minimum of 5 years of previous accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in a Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) reporting environment
  • Strong communication, active listening and influencing skills, both written and verbal
