What is the Transfer Agent (TA) Operations Support & Oversight team responsible for?
This Includes
The TA Operations Support & Oversight team is responsible for providing support on operational matters and overseeing all aspects of outsourced TA vendors.
  • Coordinating audit activities and regulatory requests for information.
  • Developing firm, client and advisor notifications on upcoming initiatives, regulatory changes, or service updates.
  • Providing operational support for regional product, marketing, and distribution initiatives.
  • Monitoring of critical vendor processes to ensure adherence with firm policies and regulations.
  • Working closely with internal business partners and outsourced vendors to support crisis management and escalation resolution.
What is the Senior Analyst – Transfer Agent responsible for?
The Senior TA Analyst will be responsible for all aspects of oversight related to outsourced TA work. This includes being the primary point of contact for all outsourced processes as well as the development and execution of a risk-based oversight model. This position requires a high degree of collaboration with outsourced vendors and internal departments. This role entails working closely with many different areas within the firm, and all levels of management, to spearhead or assist with regional initiatives and crisis management. The Senior TA Analyst is responsible for delivering high quality customer service to all customers, whether internal or external, and identifying strategies and completing projects in support of continued business growth.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Senior Analyst – Transfer Agent?
Vendor Engagement
  • Coordinates key monitoring activities within the team to ensure critical vendor processes are managed in accordance with Franklin Templeton policies and guidelines.
  • Primary point of contact for various service vendors.
Project Support
  • Spreadheads implementation of workflow or process changes to realize efficiencies or achieve desired state.
  • Provides subject matter expertise for regional product, marketing, and distribution initiatives.
Crisis Management
  • Guides cross-organization discussions to support resolution of large-scale production issues to mitigate client/firm impact.
Client Communications
  • Provides support to internal groups in escalation management and resolution.
  • Supports development of firm, client and advisor notifications on upcoming Franklin Templeton initiatives, regulatory changes, or service updates.
