Transfer Pricing, Associate Jobs

A career within Transfer Pricing services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients develop compliant, tax efficient structures that help advance their business goals. You’ll focus on all aspects of documentation planning, dispute resolution, and advance pricing agreements. Our team is responsible for all aspects of intercompany pricing arrangements between related business entities, including transfers of intellectual property, transfers of tangible goods, services and loans, and other financing transactions. The Transfer Pricing team is seeking an Associate to provide financial and economic analyses and research support. You will learn about financial transactions, businesses and industries.

Purpose-led work you’ll be part of
As a Transfer Pricing Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Keep up-to-date with developments in area of specialism
• Detailed analyses of financial statements, industry overviews and comparable analyses of financial transactions and companies
• Data research using both publicly accessible and firm-specific databases
• Identify and make suggestions for improvements when problems and/or opportunities arise
• Build and maintain an internal and external network
• Follow risk management and compliance procedures
• Seek opportunities to learn about how PwC works as a global network of firms
• Invite and give in the moment feedback in a constructive manner
• Share and collaborate effectively with others
• Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct
• Assist in data collection, analysis, and writing of background documents, including short memos and research papers

Experiences And Skills You’ll Use To Solve

• Background in economics, commerce, corporate finance or another quantitative discipline
• You should be conscientious, self-motivated, and be able to assume responsibility for various aspects of a project within a team framework
• You are a mature self-starter who possesses the intellectual curiosity to delve beyond the surface of a particular issue
• Basic knowledge of transfer pricing, credit risk, and financial markets
• Strong research and analytical skills, comfortable working with financial statements and able to gather and synthesize data for various markets, industries and company/client operations
• A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
• Proficient with MS Office and Google suite applications
• A working knowledge of Bloomberg is an asset but not required
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Working towards or CFA designation completed considered an asset
• Ability to balance competing deadlines and work effectively under pressure
• A professional and personable demeanor
