Baker Tilly SNT is currently looking for an experienced, motivated, and client-driven individual to join our growing team as a Senior Accountant in our Timmins office. The Senior Accountant will be an integral part of our team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Identifying and resolving engagement issues
• Supervising engagements and related tax filings within a paperless office environment
• Preparation and review of notice to reader, review and audit engagement reports
• Ensuring the clients’ satisfaction with the firm’s services
• Year-end planning for various companies, including communication and coordination with clients directly
• Providing timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations
• Identifying and cultivating new sales/service opportunities for clients
• Training and mentoring junior staff on engagements

A successful candidate will have:

• CPA designation is an asset
• Three or more years of progressive public accounting experience
• A passion for client service
• Bilingualism in French/English is an asset
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
• University Business Degree
• Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge
