Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guards in Ottawa, ON.

• Pay Rate - $21.50/hour
• Employee Referral

• Shift Length: 12-hours Continental Rotation
• Paid medical, dental, vision for Full-Time employees
• Shift Times: 0800-2000 and 2000-0800
• Experience working in the social services sector or with persons in crisis would be an asset
• Full Time, Permanent
• Paid training shall be provided

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
• Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
• As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background check
• Be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
• Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
• Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 20 kilograms
• Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
• Licensing requirements are subject to province and/or local laws and regulations and will be required prior to employment.
