Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Site Security Guard located in Ottawa, ON. The Site Security Guard will be responsible for monitoring and securing commercial and residential properties, maintaining records, and creating incident reports. Additionally, the Site Security Guard will respond to emergencies, request appropriate assistance when necessary, and actively participate in the prevention of theft and damage to properties and assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to use electronic communication devices (smartphones, tablets)
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends
• Previous experience in a security role is an asset
• Excellent observational and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in English; additional language proficiency an asset
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
• Valid Security License issued by the Government of Ontario
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform patrols outside
