We are currently looking for a Part-Time Seasonal Cook to join our RiverBend Golf Course Community in London!

Note: 20-25 hours per week - shifts from 5:00 p.m -10:00 p.m.

• Adheres to company policies, procedures, practices and philosophies. Works in accordance with all industry and regulatory compliance agencies, the Ontario Retirement Communities Association, The Retirement Homes Act 2010 and O. Reg 166/1, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, the Ontario Fire Code, Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act and other pertinent legislated regulations/ standards.
• You’ll enjoy special events, celebrations, and unique perks, specific to your role and work environment, that reinforce our commitment to creating a wonderful employee experience.
• Ability to understand and carry out orders so as to prepare food correctly and attractively according to specified portion control.
• Safe Food Handler certification required (employer prepared to pay)
• The Cook is responsible for assisting in the food production operations of the Residence by demonstrating skill, efficiency and diligence in the performance of all assigned duties in a safe and clean environment.
• Present a professional image at all times.

• Minimum one-year experience cooking in a restaurant style setting.
• Available to work days, evenings and weekends as required.
• We’ll set you up for success by providing in-depth training with your team and mentors, working in partnership with our leadership team.
• Preferred culinary education, attending or apprentice.
• Our Employee Assistance Program is available for your everyday needs.
• Maintains confidentiality with respect to resident and operational Residence matters, exercises courtesy, good judgment and concern for the safety and wellbeing of residents and visitors. This includes adherence to the Social Media Policy.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Line experience is necessary, Banquet experience is an asset but not necessary.
