COMPENSATION


$110,000 – $115,000/annually, plus commission (3% of sales) which increases year over year. Additionally, you will receive a car allowance of $750 – $1,200 per month and health benefits of $300 – $500 per month.


The Opportunity


Our client supplies high quality products and secondary items to the plastic molding industry. From the actual steel right through to specialized high quality consumables used in the manufacturing and maintenance. As their new Sales Manager you will be responsible for optimizing their current customer base as well as developing new business in Toronto and southern Ontario. They have existing business in this market and are ready to deploy a full-time Sales Manager to represent them, in-person in Canada.


Location Note This role will see you operating across the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario. Your availability for travel between Kitchener to Oshawa is ideal.


Position Description


  • Following-up of quotations to secure purchase orders
  • Develop, build, and maintain strong long-term relationships with existing and new customers, to maximize sales of products and services
  • Your role will involve providing technical advice and support to our customers, by understanding their requirements, providing technical assistance, and ensuring delivery of optimum solutions.
  • Preparing quotations. Discuss, negotiate, and finalize proposals with customers; ensuring key deadlines are met
  • Analyzing the market and the competitors
  • Dealing with customer inquiries promptly and efficiently
  • You will ensure that all customer service levels, and performance standards are met.
  • Must be willing to travel throughout the GTA and southern Ontario


Experience


At least 2 years of experience in related sales to the industry.


QUALIFICATIONS


  • Willingness to travel
  • Seeking someone that comes from background of either tooling, molding, and/or plastics
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • CRM experience is seen as an advantage


Education


Engineering Degree or Engineering Technician/Technologist Diploma
