Job Description

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Sales Associate specializing in selling hearing aids to senior citizens.


At our company, we are dedicated to improving the quality of life for seniors by providing them with the latest advancements in hearing aid technology. As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in our mission by connecting with senior citizens, understanding their unique hearing needs, and guiding them in selecting the most suitable hearing aids.


Responsibilities:

  • Establish relationships: Build rapport and trust with senior citizens to understand their individual hearing requirements and develop lasting relationships with potential customers.
  • Organise your monthly work plan with your local group of pharmacies and allied health providers
  • Schedule an appointment for potential customers to have a full diagnostic test by our Clinician(s) in our retail stores
  • Product demonstrations: Demonstrate various hearing aid models and features to potential customers, highlighting the benefits and addressing any concerns they may have.
  • Consultative selling: Provide personalized recommendations based on customers' needs, preferences, and budget constraints, ensuring they receive the best hearing aid solution for their situation.
  • After-sales support: Provide ongoing support to customers, including hearing aid fittings, adjustments, and troubleshooting to ensure their satisfaction and optimal usage of the devices.
  • Drive lead generation by engaging with potential customers and performing a free 5-minute hearing health screening
  • Stay updated: Continuously educate yourself about the latest advancements in hearing aid technology, industry trends, and competitive offerings to effectively advise customers.
  • Work across a variety of pharmacies, trade events, pop up stands and in shopping centres
  • Sales targets: Meet or exceed sales targets by effectively communicating the value of our hearing aid products and guiding customers through the purchasing process.
  • Conduct assessments: Conduct thorough hearing assessments to accurately diagnose hearing impairments and recommend appropriate hearing aid solutions.


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in audiology or related field is a plus.
  • Empathetic and patient attitude to address the unique needs and concerns of senior customers.
  • Previous sales experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with senior citizens.
  • Proficiency in using sales software and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage customer interactions and maintain detailed records.
  • Knowledge or willingness to learn about hearing loss, hearing aids, and related technology.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
