Reporting to the Research Manager, the Non-clinical Research Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination of multiple Emergency Medicine research projects based at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Responsibilities also include the coordination and administration of the studies, management of documents and data collected throughout the study period and study subject care, which includes obtaining and verifying medical and family history, and responding to study subjects over the phone or in person.

$26.00 - $32.50 hourly

We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Strong negotiation, conflict resolution and rapport-building skills
- Relevant clinical experience considered an asset
- Previous experience in a relevant field preferred
- Database construction and maintenance skills
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated research and analytical thinking skills
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
- Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) or Certified Clinical Research Associate (CCRA) designation considered an asset
- Completion of a relevant Bachelor’s degree
- Medical Terminology course preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint), email and internet
- Experience with RedCap considered an asset
- Ability to work well independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team environment
