THE OPPORTUNITY


Our growing organization is seeking a talented and experienced Recruitment Associate to join our team. As a Recruitment Associate, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment process by working closely with your hiring managers and their teams to understand their staffing needs and ensure the sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates is targeted accurately and effectively for long lasting placements. You will provide guidance and support to all parties throughout the recruitment process while developing effective recruitment strategies.


Key Responsibilities


As the Recruitment Associate, you will:


  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in recruitment service orientated and strong community relationships.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in the applicant tracking system.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Source and attract candidates through various channels such as job postings, social media, and networking events.
  • Manage the full recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring candidates.
  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to schedule and conduct interviews and ensure timely feedback to candidates.
  • Conduct phone screens, set up video and in-person interviews to evaluate candidates’ qualifications and fit for the position and company culture.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance and support throughout the recruitment process.
  • Manage the offer process and negotiate compensation packages with selected candidates.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to recruitment and hiring.
  • Be able to work independently with remote team support.


Qualifications


As a Recruitment Associate, you will bring:


  • Experience in recruitment, with a strong track record of identifying and hiring top talent is an asset
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and resume databases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with candidates at all levels.
  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to work independently.
  • Hands-on experience with various recruitment methods and tools.
  • Higher education in Human Resources or Recruitment such as the RPR (Registered Professional Recruiter), or a Diploma in Human Resources would be an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates, external partners, and local community networks.
  • Knowledge of recruitment best practices and legal requirements related to recruitment and hiring.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and maintain a high level of professionalism.
