Job Summary
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Technician Co-op Student! This role will be based out of our London Plant and report to the Quality Assurance Manager.
The candidate will assist with QA projects – mainly work instructions for products & test methods. Candidate will work together with the London QA team to support the organizational goals. The role includes the maintenance and continuous improvement of our Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Principle Accountabilities

• Part / process studies, capability studies, GR&R studies, data entry, measuring and testing
• Other duties as assigned
• Create / update inspection reports, packaging instructions and other related documentation such as part approvals
• Promote an atmosphere of continuous improvement within the QC lab as well as on the plant floor
• Comprehensive gauge use instructions, and test instruction creation and updates to existing
• New lab equipment, testing fixtures, repair / replacement projects
• Maintain a clean and organized QC lab, offices, and testing facilities

Requirements
Qualifications & experience

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Enrolled in a college or university program in engineering – Quality / Mechanical / Industrial
• Proficiency of MS Office, including Excel
• Basic knowledge and understanding of quality assurance processes and measuring skills
• Basic knowledge and understanding of ISO standards and procedures
