Quality System Coordinator – QMS
Job Summary
Responsible for operating the Quality Management System (QMS), writing procedures and processes to support the QMS development. Lead and undertake audits across all areas of the business. Provide training and champion the Quality Management System. Work on many phases or sub-tasks of projects or entire projects of moderate complexity, with results impacting on project completion. Work under general supervision, reviewed at project milestones and/or on completion by Senior Management.
Duties and Responsibilities
Documentation Management:
•Maintain and update quality management system documentation, including procedures, work instructions, forms, and records.
•Ensure documentation accuracy, consistency, and compliance with relevant industry / vRNA regulations and standards.
•Organize and manage document control processes, including version control and distribution.
Auditing and Inspections:
•Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with established quality standards and regulations.
•Prepare documentation and assist in audit responses and corrective action plans.
•Collaborate with auditors to facilitate the audit process and provide required documentation.
Quality Metrics and Reporting:
•Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of quality systems and processes.
•Generate regular quality reports for management review, highlighting trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
Training and Compliance:
•Provide training to employees on quality system procedures, processes, and documentation requirements.
•Ensure that employees are aware of and adhere to quality policies and procedures.
•Stay up to date with industry regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
System Support:
•Assist in the implementation and maintenance of electronic quality management systems (QMS) and related software tools.
•Troubleshoot technical issues related to QMS software and collaborate with IT teams for resolutions.
Qualifications
•Minimum College Diploma with QA Dept. work experience
•2-5 years of experience in the Automotive Field
•Excellent organizational, communication, computer skills
•Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel and PowerPoint),
•IATF 16949 / ISO 90001 certified, ISO 14001 knowledge would be an asset.
