As a Quality Assurance Analyst , you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of assigned business software applications through automated testing . You will work closely with software developers and other quality assurance testers to develop and execute test automation strategies, identify and report defects , and contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes.

TalentWorld is recruiting a QA Analyst in Mississauga , Ontario for one of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report defects, and track defect resolution through to closure.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of testing tools, processes, and methodologies, including Agile development and DevOps
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts.
• Work closely with software developers and other quality assurance testers to develop and execute test automation strategies.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of automated testing tools and frameworks.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of testing experience in a QA environment , with a focus on test automation
• Experience with automated testing tools, such as Selenium, Cucumber, or similar frameworks
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with software developers and other quality assurance testers .
• College diploma or undergraduate university degree in a related discipline (e.g., Computer Science) or a combination of experience, education and/or training deemed to be equivalent.
• Good comprehension of QA processes and methodologies, as well as software development life cycle
• Proven track record of developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts .
