Are you looking for an exciting and challenging career in Real Estate? If so, we have an amazing opportunity for you. It doesn’t matter if you are new to Real Estate services and in particular Strata Property Management. We will be happy to bring you onboard and train you for the role. You will work with a licensed Strata Property Manager in all things related to the role while taking the licensing course with the goal of becoming a licensed Strata Property Manager within six months. All you need to bring with you is determination, the ability to problem-solve, a team-centric approach, and a strong desire to help others.

This position is based out of our Courtenay office, where you will be working as a part of a small, close-knit team, while supporting a larger team and client base located throughout Greater Victoria and Vancouver Island.

If you are a highly motivated individual with a passion for helping people live and grow together, please apply for this fantastic opportunity.
This Is YOU To a ‘T’
  • You love fixing problems for others and helping the entire team succeed.
  • You do whatever it takes. The phrase "That’s not my job" is not a part of your vocabulary.
  • You are confident, kind, patient, and a great listener.
  • You build consensus within diverse groups and manage expectations clearly.
  • You create systems to keep organized and stay on top of a high volume of emails, tasks, and workload.
  • Bring JOY to every interaction.
  • You diffuse situations and handle conflict and negative emotions effectively.
  • You have a sense of humor and have fun.
  • You enthusiastically support positive changes and see opportunities rather than challenges.
  • You love learning, setting goals and are open to guidance and feedback.
The role day to day while taking the licensing course:
This is an exciting and challenging career that starts with up to 6 months of training in our Operations Coordinator role. You will work with and support licensed property managers while taking the Strata Management Licensing Course. Upon successful completion of the Strata Management Licensing Exam, you will work on your own portfolio of buildings.
  • This position requires travel between offices, as you may be required to work from other offices from time to time.
  • Consistently demonstrate customer service excellence and help people.
  • Spearhead the organization of the property managers, with everyone working towards the common goal of providing the best possible care for the portfolio of stratas.
  • Develop skills in public speaking, leadership, relationship building, and budgeting.
  • Manage emergencies with a decisive and calm demeanor, able to troubleshoot the situation and find positive solutions.
  • Assist Property Manager with obtaining quotes, scheduling maintenance, and confirming jobs with tradespeople at the direction of the Property Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Liaise with strata council members, building owners, and residents by telephone, email and via in person enquiries.
  • Provide coverage for the front desk and office as needed.
In addition to in-office training on processes and procedures, the training for this position will involve going to buildings, learning how building systems work, and attending strata council meetings to understand the interactions with clients.
