Project Procurement Expeditor Jobs

Our client, an established leader in engineering, fabrication, and construction of gas compression and processing facilities for the energy industry are seeking a Project Procurement Expeditor in Airdrie, AB.

Schedule: Monday - Friday / 8:00am - 5:00pm

Salary: $45,000 - $65,000/year + great benefits package*

Benefits: Extended Health / Dental / RRSP

Vacation: 2 weeks (accrued each pay + 8 flex days)

As The Project Procurement Expeditor you will be responsible for overseeing purchase orders on specific job(s) and ensures that all material are received in a timely manner to meet the overall project schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain constant communication with vendors to ensure timely material deliveries.
• Review current project orders through weekly receiving reports.
• Facilitate communication among all project-involved groups.
• Keep the database up to date for work in progress.
• Track shipments as necessary.
• Process and compile various reports.
• Schedule incoming shipments with different carriers.
• Perform additional purchasing and expediting duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience in Visual Manufacturing or similar ERP system software.
• High School Diploma.
• Advanced experience working in an oil & gas fabrication environment.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office suite of programs (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, etc)
