Summary

The Project Manager/Engineer will be responsible for managing a Project team and driving project performance, resource planning, staffing, risk management, and communication.

Key Activities

• Cohesive daily communication between the customer, account services, sales, and manufacturing.
• Prepares required documentation for all phases of the job, including but not limited to job tickets, delivery receipts, vendor purchase orders, press chits, vendor credits, layouts, alteration estimates, and change orders.
• Serves as customer advocate on all phases of projects, including planning, scheduling, quality assurance, security, & changing customer requirements.
• Identifies & contracts with vendors to provide products & services that meet or exceed standards in quality and budget.
• Relays quality, scheduling, and pricing obstacles to the production manager or general manager; implement & communicate agreed-upon corrective action.
• Engineers’ projects to be produced efficiently and within budget. Investigate & recommend modifications to enhance quality, functionality, & cost savings.
• Projects are efficiently and profitably managed through all phases.
• Prepares required paperwork for a staff accountant to ensure accurate, timely billing.
• Manages a significant percentage of company business at any given time by planning each stage of incoming jobs.
• Support for the customer, account service, and salesperson.
• Written documentation for each phase will meet or exceed the customer’s requirements.

• Communication: Must be able to convey information to other team members, clients, and vendors in a clear and concise manner. Listen to others and respond to their questions in a way that makes them feel heard.

Educations & Experience

• College education or a minimum of 5 years of project management experience in sheet-fed or related settings.
• Must have worked in a pharmaceutical company (tablets, capsules, sachets)
• Must be strong with pharma equipment and GMPs
