On behalf of our client, Procom is currently seeking an Expert Project Manager for a six (6) month engagement based in Burnaby, British Columbia. This client is pleased to offer a remote work model for this role.

Project Manager – Patient Portal Job Details

• Implement solution following best possible practices.
• Deliver: Requirements documentation, user interface mock-ups and integration plans.
• Finalize Requirements and Integration; Take existing requirements, validate them and ensure there is fulsome representation.
• Define portal features for technical integration.
• Reporting includes weekly status reporting, weekly project planning updates, and ad hoc reporting.
• Integrate governance for this project with existing governance structures to ensure exceptional representation and alignment, integrating into provincial structures but also with BC Cancer
• Leadership, Coordination, management, and reporting on all aspects of the project/ implementation.
• Deliver: Scope document, assessment report, project plan.
• Assess patient engagement needs and existing tech.
• Enable and drive for appropriate engagement in the solution selection.
• Build team and structure to successfully deploy solution.
• Define scope, objectives, and success criteria.
• Follow procurement processes to find the best portal solution.
• Risk, issue, dependency management to ensure the critical path of the implementation is followed and milestones stay on track.

Project Manager – Patient Portal Mandatory Skills

• User adoption strategy expertise.
• Ensured compliance with privacy regulations.
• Experience with senior and executive level audiences, strong facilitation, collaboration and leadership skills, senior level project management required.
• Effective risk identification and mitigation.
• Experience with setting up operational processes, transition to operations and project turnover processes.
• Successful integration of healthcare systems.
• Strong stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Experience with Healthcare IT Implementations (Oncology preferred).
• Comprehensive project records management.
• Clear project impact assessment.

Project Manager – Patient Portal Nice-To-Have Skills

• PMP or equivalent
• Oncology care and engagement knowledge.

Project Manager – Patient Portal Assignment Length

Six (6) month contract with the potential for four (4) extensions of three (3) months each.
