Why We Need You

FYidoctors Richmond is looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience with you and join us as our newest Full-Time Patient Services Specialist.

The Patient Services Specialist plays a critical role within FYidoctors and is crucial to our success by delivering world-class service to our patients. You'll often be the first point of contact with the public, so you must bring with you your passion for people and your drive to deliver an exceptional customer experience. With your help, we'll continue to have a positive impact on our current patients' health and well-being, as well as the patients we haven't yet met.

This position is a full-time, permanent role working Mondays through Saturdays, up to 40 hours a week.

What Will You Be Doing?

• Contributing to store retail sales goals
• Managing appointment bookings, prescription printouts and billing and payments
• Billing the patient, their medical service provider and other third parties
• Administering pre-testing services
• Educating clients about the best eyewear choices for their lifestyle, ensuring they receive the best in value and quality
• Communicating with patients in person, by phone, and by email
• Upholding excellent customer service standards using your charisma and problem-solving skills

What Do You Have?

• Experience with third party insurance billing is an asset
• Ideally, you will have some customer-facing experience, preferably in a retail environment
• A track record of learning new systems and processes
• Familiarity and comfort using technology and computers
• Professional and approachable manner and a love of meeting and interacting with people
• Experience with daily end-of-day cash out is considered an asset
