Our Project Loan Monitoring/Lenders' Services team is looking for a Project Consultant/ Senior Project Loan Monitor to join us in Vancouver immediately.


What You Get To Do

  • Network regularly by utilizing local market knowledge to promote the business, cross-selling and building new contacts and clients; and
  • Establish spatial analysis for a sector of buildings;
  • Regular interaction with peers and counterparts in the other Regions to promote best practice techniques;
  • Prepare and undertake periodic reviews of progress claim reports, including submitting invoices, valuation of changes, analysis of progress on-site, and recommendation of loan advances;
  • Be aware of market intelligence and market rates for construction as well as different procurement routes and contracts in the marketplace;
  • Prepare budget reviews through detailed analysis of development proposals with comprehensive knowledge of typical Lenders’ requirements and terms of engagement;
  • Accountable for coordinating workload and team resources;
  • Prepare of technical components and fees for proposals.
  • Mentor junior to intermediate level team members;
  • Conduct periodic site inspections occasionally and review reports produced by team members;
  • Lead multiple projects per month with minimum supervision;


What You'll Bring

  • Understanding of the construction industry - development, contracting, and consultant services;
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills combined with sound judgment and initiative;
  • Ability to work in a team environment and ability to work to own initiatives;
  • Minimum 2 to 8 years of related experience;
  • Passion for business development and managing client relationships;
  • Professional qualification in place or very close to being obtained: PQS and/or MRICS;
  • University degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Construction, Engineering or Finance;
  • Hold a valid driver's license;
  • Understand specialist consultant reports and impact on development proposals;
  • A combination of experience and education will be considered
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada; and
  • Self-motivated with good organizational, communication, and report writing skills;
