Program Qa Lead - Regulatory Project

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program QA Lead to join our team and play a key role in a regulatory project. As the Program QA Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of our regulatory reporting systems through effective coordination and testing.

Responsibilities:

1. Regulatory Reporting Expertise: Utilize your extensive knowledge and experience in regulatory reporting within the Capital Markets domain to understand the intricacies of the regulatory requirements and ensure compliance.
2. Testing Coordination: Act as a bridge between the business and technology teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration to ensure seamless coordination of testing activities. Work closely with stakeholders to gather testing requirements, define test plans, and establish testing strategies.
3. Test Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on regulatory requirements, system specifications, and business processes. Execute tests, record results, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders, highlighting any defects or issues identified during testing.
4. Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce best practices for quality assurance processes, ensuring that all testing activities are performed in accordance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
5. Test Automation: Identify opportunities to automate testing processes and improve efficiency. Evaluate and implement appropriate testing tools and frameworks to streamline testing activities and enhance overall test coverage.
6. Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and issues related to the regulatory project, and provide recommendations for mitigation strategies. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues and minimize any negative impact on project timelines.
7. Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment by working closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to drive successful project delivery.

Requirements:

1. Capital Markets Experience: Strong background and knowledge of Capital Markets, specifically in regulatory reporting, is essential for this role.
2. Program QA Experience: Proven experience in leading and managing QA activities within complex programs or projects, with a focus on regulatory initiatives.
3. Testing Expertise: In-depth understanding of testing methodologies, test case development, test execution, and defect management. Experience in both manual and automated testing is preferred.
4. Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory requirements and reporting frameworks, such as Basel III, Dodd-Frank, MiFID II, or other relevant regulations.
5. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with business and technology stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
6. Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess complex systems and identify potential issues or risks. Ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions.
