Job Description


The production quality inspector maintains quality standards by inspecting materials, in-process production, and finishing products and then recording quality results.


Requirements


  • Above average attendance
  • Previous forklift experience or valid forklift (counterbalance) certification
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Physically able to lift, push, pull, stand on a concrete floor, kneel, crawl, grip, pinch
  • Experience with measuring equipment – tape measure, caliper, micrometer
  • Good visual/color vision
  • Proven ability to follow standards, rules, policies, work instructions, directions
  • Good communication skills
  • Have a quality and detailed focus
  • Understands the need to make premium quality every time
  • Good eye-hand coordination
  • Has demonstrated the ability to remain calm under pressure/deadlines


Shifts


  • Permanent, Full-Time Position
  • 12 hr. continental day/night shift, with 4-week turnaround
  • Averaging agreements in place
  • 84 hrs. biweekly with an opportunity for OT


Rate of Pay


Depending on knowledge, skills, abilities, and experiences both work and educational the rate starts at $18.09 - CA$24.03 per hour
