Job Description
As Product Owner, you will play a critical role in accelerating DLL’s digital business transformation strategy via the discovery, development, and delivery of powerful digital customer experiences. Our Target Operating Model underpins this strategy and requires high-potential, effective product leaders to pave the way in redefining how we deliver superior value to our customers and capture new value from a rapidly evolving financial services landscape. To accomplish this, our product management organization must take the lead in re-imagining the digital customer journey and user experience by exhibiting a customer-first, data-driven mindset.
Day to Day
  • Play a key role in all maintenance and/or upgrade activities related to the product along with facilitating and managing development, delivery and testing of enhancements and other change requests
  • Play a key role in the regular product planning and road mapping so we can effectively plan what we must do now to achieve the digital future we envision for DLL
  • Effectively communicate with business unit leaders across the organization on product plans, reporting, and business cases for new product/feature requests
  • Play a critical role in the Product Management organization on the Digital team
  • Work with multiple Agile Scrum teams (CX, API) to define meaningful feature specs and refined user stories that ensure we’re continuously delivering value throughout the customer journey
  • Work with other product leaders such as yourself to shape the vision for how we can give our customers self-service tools and platforms to put the power of DLL financing in their hands
  • Collaborate and work cross-functionally with business unit leaders, CX (Customer Experience), UX, Technology Teams and Marketing to discover, define, and deliver powerful product experiences and features

Essentials
  • Demonstrable experience working within and excelling at delivering superior customer value in an agile scrum/SAFe development model
  • Comfort in navigating complex business systems to find the best path for delivering value
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with UX, CX, other business units, technology teams and product owners to incorporate user feedback in the design and development cycle
  • Experience with InfoLease desirable; Experience in Contract Management and Asset Financing desirable
  • Ability to communicate with and share a meaningful story with leaders at different levels of the organization
  • A product mindset: understands the customer problem(s), the vision, and knows how to work backwards to roadmap a plan for moving forward
  • Back-office experience desirable
  • Experience managing multi-layered digital product experiences and platforms with a solid technical aptitude
  • Applied knowledge with customer-oriented product development and design methodologies (Lean Startup, IDEO HCD, Design Thinking)
  • 7+ years’ experience as a digital (and/or financial applications/systems) product manager/owner delivering great user experiences in a matrixed organization within a complex business
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and get everyone focused on the few things that will generate the most value for the customer and the business
  • 2+ years’ experience in financial services

  • PO/PM Certification (along with applied knowledge)
