Work Location: Hybrid, 2-3 days per week required to be at the Gamma Foundries
Gamma Foundries (115 Newkirk Rd, Richmond Hill, ON L4C 3G4) or at our head office
(1 Sparks Ave, North York, ON M2H 2W1)
Job SummaryWe are looking for a Pricing coordinator reporting to the Vice President, Sales & Marketing. This role will be responsible to improve our group margin and will be accountable for all North American Foundrion Group customer’s pricing, working in close and constant relation with all key internal stakeholders and make recommendations to the Sales, Marketing, and Management regarding opportunities to maximize margins for both new and existing customers. The individual will be responsible for apply analytical methods and tools necessary to translate the data into clear, actionable insights.
Job Responsibilities
Pricing:
- Build strong relationships and fosters teamwork by constantly interacting with several other departments including each costing and engineer department, supply chain, finance, Purchasing, operations and sales team to ensure integrated profit maximizing approach to each specific market
- Tracks all the various base Alloys costs and response. Communicating key pricing insights across the organization, while being comfortable when challenged.
- Lead and direct pricing strategy: guide, suggests or requests price adjustments and take necessary pricing action to enhance profitability, insuring integrity and accuracy in all pricing matters with each foundry estimator and sales Manager, based on cost feedback and market conditions.
- Responsible for key accounts price lists and establish pricing tactics (quotations on new customers as well as existing customer price actions).
- Build a pricing framework for specific customer categories or markets.
- Understands every foundry current pricing model and build one that makes sense for the group
- Develop, implement and continuously improve pricing strategies, models, and management structure; Serves as the internal customers’ first point of contact for questions regarding pricing and the data used to generate proposed pricing, discounts, terms, etc..
Business monitoring:
- Monitor and collect market trends and information (Competition, trends, etc..)
- Conduct ad-hoc data analyses and implement effective price communication.
- Perform financial evaluation, assess and analyze pricing and margin action effectiveness by customer, markets and specific jobs, and search job anomalies, sales and margin improvement of new customers, new parts.
Education and Skill Requirement
●BS/BA in Analytical Marketing/ Pricing/ Strategy /Data science. MBA is an asset
●Minimum 5 years in pricing management Business Analysis, or any Analytical / Strategic field.
●Strong understanding of pricing strategies and concepts
●Excellent organizational, strong analytical and proven decision and problem-solving skills
●Ability to learn fast with a strong professional drive.
●Excellent verbal & written communication skills
●Ability to provide effective counsel to business leaders; lead through influencing and building alignment among diverse views; able to effectively challenge the status quo
●Excellent interpersonal, analytical, as well verbal & written communication skills
●Ability to work in groups, independently and under pressure.
●Ability to display quantitative information in tables, charts, PowerPoint presentations, and other forms of visual enhancements to the data.
●Curious, proactive, self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
●Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
●Critical thinking and problem solving skills
●Expertise in MS office suite – Advance MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, macros), Excel VBA Programming, Power BI dashboards, other Programming languages such as SQL
●Familiarity with ERP systems
●Ideally experience in the MetalCasting Industry
Limited travel required
