The Pricing and Finance Specialist ensures changes in market pricing and factors is reflected in AIM’s internal systems and communicated effectively to all stakeholders. The Pricing Specialist will work closely with many internal stakeholders also while ensuring purchases align with purchase order and other information.


What you're responsible for:


  • Lead process improvements for providing updated pricing to the customer at intervals compliant with our contractual obligation s
  • Liaise between various departments, including Transportation, Sales, Finance
  • Lead process improvements for order intake with various stakeholders in the organization
  • Translate deals completed between Sales Department and Customers to capture in our internal systems
  • Send Scale Tickets / Customer Backup to Suppliers daily
  • Create Purchase Settlements when required based on commercial obligations
  • Complete and Communicate pricing letters to our customers


Qualifications


  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills
  • A service-oriented, collaborative, and team-first attitude
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational & interpersonal skills
  • Relevant College or University Degree is required
  • Ability to effectively communicate & prioritize in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment
  • Extremely Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook and Excel). Strong understanding of Macros and Visual Basic.
