Job Description
What You'll Do


The Post-Purchase Program Analyst supports the delivery of the Post-Purchase Program under the broader Product Quality Organization’s mandate to support our customers, drive quality products and improve customer perceptions of the products sold at Canadian Tire.
  • Provide financial analytics to support the design of a refurbishment program to strategically work in tandem with the enhanced repair program and the ‘As-Is’ program to reduce waste and drive meaningful sustainability improvements
  • Execution of Post-Purchase Framework
  • Implementing processes to manage corporate responses to online reviews and customer questions, contributing to a cohesive brand image and customer experience
  • Support the development of the expanded scope for the post-purchase program to provide enhanced spare part and repair support for a larger selection of products to improve brand perception and customer experience
  • Utilizing existing reporting, investigate potential opportunities to increase the number of PL SKUs we support to ensure that we are meeting the desired brand expectations
  • Actively collaborate with QA, Brand, PD, Merch, PRO Merch, Vendors to enhance existing and design new process and programs within the post-purchase framework
  • Maintain and monitor service standards for vendor supported programs
  • Manage Post-Purchase Service Provider Performance
  • Conduct financial feasibility analysis on post-purchase initiatives
  • Monitor and report on post-purchase financial status at vendor level

  • Supporting the financial model estimation logic, tools and process for post-purchase program
  • Execute vendor billing process to support post-purchase program costs and communicate billing requirements to Merch, PRO-Merch, and vendors
  • Reporting and Analytics
  • Execute ad hoc reporting for the QA management team as required
  • Maintain reporting tools and processes for all aspects of the post-purchase program, including service provider activity, responses to online customer reviews and questions, and product coverage


What You Bring

  • Resourceful - Demonstrates resourcefulness by using critical thinking and creativity to overcome difficulties
  • Post-secondary degree in business or similar
  • Highly developed sense of accountability, passion, and track record for delivering results
  • 2+ years business experience in retail
  • Technical Skills - advanced MS Excel, basic programming, and basic MS Access
  • Outcome focused – possesses strong business and financial acumen, critical thinker with the ability to analyze and visualize to ensure continuous improvement
  • Ability to communicate effectively across the organization verbally and written and via presentations
  • Customer Focus - Considers the customer’s needs first and foremost, making improvements based on customer feedback
