At Lake of Bays Brewing Company our philosophy is simple – make great beer, run a down-to-earth business, and have some fun while we’re at it!
Our brewery and retail store (home to the best patio in Baysville) is located just a stone’s throw from the South Muskoka River. We would kindly ask, that you not test this out by actually throwing rocks at us! What started as an idea by our president and founder in his university apartment, has grown into a very impressive lineup of beer, offering something to suit everyone’s taste from a light lager to a double IPA to a stout.
We love to support fellow Canadian businesses. As our seasonal Retail and Patio Associate you'll be the first face our customers see when entering the Brewery and will be responsible for making recommendations for beer selections, merchandise and condiments to help drive business success! The position is a seasonal role, expected to last from May-Labour day!

*The Role:*

• Making merch, beer and food recommendations that fit your customers' needs
• Providing product tastings and tours to our fans and customers
• Performing all required cash register transactions efficiently and accurately
• Building a relationship with our biggest fans and customers, by sharing your passion and knowledge of craft beer
• Contributing to store profitability by receiving, handling, replenishing, and processing incoming product flow
• Maintaining a safe, clean and orderly workspace or retail floor
• Serving food and beer to guests on our patio
• Providing excellent customer service by responding to customer questions, concerns or issues regarding products or services

• Positive, professional, and a friendly “can do” attitude
• Smart Serve certified
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills – a commitment to building effective internal and external relationships is key
• Enthusiasm and a passion for craft beer (a big win for us, but not necessary!)
• Strong multi-tasking abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment
• Experience in a retail, food and beverage or customer service role
• Dedicated to excellent service

*Working Conditions:*

• Able to lift up to 55lbs
• Extended periods of walking and standing
• Evenings, weekends, and day shifts are all part of the gig

Salary: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
