Role

To unload, sort, and accurately distribute product coming in on cross dock trailers and leaving on individual route trailers. This position is the last stop for temperature and time sensitive product before being delivered to customers and a high degree of consistency is required.

Role Responsibilities

• Loading product onto trucks while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present.
• Is willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor.
• Communicate pallet or product issues to supervisor

Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements

• Ability to operate manual and electric pallet jacks and rubber tire forklift
• Proficiency working with Microsoft Office
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or GED
