Formateur ou formatrice de l’exploitation


En tant que membre de l’équipe Apprentissage et développement, le formateur ou la formatrice de l’exploitation est responsable d’offrir la formation d’intégration aux employés dans les centres de l’excellence ou les établissements régionaux de Purolator. Le ou la titulaire du poste travaillera également en étroite collaboration avec équipes Apprentissage et développement, Exploitation et Ressources humaines afin de trouver et d’offrir de nouvelles formations et des formations de rappel aux employés.


Voici Les Responsabilités Particulières


  • Horaire de travail variable (jours, après-midi, soir, fins de semaine) selon les besoins opérationnels.
  • Fournir des commentaires continus sur les programmes de formation en fonction des commentaires fournis par l’Exploitation, les RH et les employés.
  • Superviser la formation sur la conformité et la réglementation pour les groupes de l’Exploitation qui reçoivent son soutien.
  • Autres tâches assignées.
  • Offrir de la formation en classe ou en ligne aux employés de la première ligne de l’Exploitation.
  • Assurer la planification et la logistique pour les nouveaux employés.
  • Assurer la tenue et l’actualisation de tous les dossiers de formation dans le système de gestion de l’apprentissage (SGA) pour tous les employés de l’Exploitation sous sa responsabilité.
  • Travailler dans les établissements de Purolator désignés.
  • Former, encadrer et évaluer les employés à l’égard des procédures et des normes appropriées en matière de rendement au travail, comme les démonstrations pratiques, l’accompagnement sur la route, les évaluations fondées sur les compétences (tous les groupes de l’Exploitation).
  • Des déplacements pourraient être requis.
  • Soutenir les formateurs en milieu de travail et les formateurs saisonniers de l’Exploitation.


Compétences


  • Réussir un examen théorique et pratique de conduite.
  • Expérience préalable en influence et collaboration avec les opérations de première ligne pour atteindre les objectifs de formation.
  • Former, encadrer et évaluer les employés à l’égard des procédures et des normes appropriées en matière de rendement au travail, comme les démonstrations pratiques.
  • Capacité de se déplacer 20 % à 70 % de son temps aux établissements de Purolator.
  • Connaissance des procédures d’exploitation de Purolator, un atout.
  • Expérience en utilisation des plateformes numériques comme Microsoft Teams et WebEx, obligatoire.
  • Bilinguisme obligatoire (au Québec).
  • Un à trois ans d’expérience pratique en formation (principes d’apprentissage des adultes).
  • Être titulaire d’un permis de conduire non probatoire valide.
  • Doit suivre ou avoir suivi la formation Conduite préventive et Méthodes et procédures du courrier de Purolator.
  • Dossier de conduite vierge (téléversez votre dossier de conduite actuel avec votre curriculum vitae).
  • Souplesse par rapport à son horaire de travail afin de répondre aux besoins de l’entreprise.
  • Connaissance pratique de Word, Excel, PowerPoint et Outlook.
  • Compréhension des principes d’apprentissage des adultes, diplôme ou certificat, un atout.
  • Diplôme d’études secondaires et formation pertinente.
  • Doit suivre ou avoir suivi le programme de formation des formateurs de Purolator.
  • Capacité de travailler de façon autonome ou en groupe pour atteindre les objectifs de la formation.
  • Excellentes aptitudes éprouvées en présentation à un public varié.


The Operations Trainer is responsible for providing onboarding training for employees in the Centre of Excellence and/or regional Purolator locations. The trainer will partner closely with key stakeholders including L&D, Operations, and Human Resources to identify and deliver refresher training opportunities for new and existing employees. This role will provide coaching, mentoring, and evaluation and will be influential in building and developing our team.


Responsibilities


  • Provide specialized training in transportation and logistics
  • Prior experience influencing/collaborating front line operations to achieve compliance with training goals
  • Scheduling and logistics for new employees
  • Facilitation of existing standardized training, ensuring compliance, and facilitating inappropriate manner, is done independently
  • Experience with digital platforms such as Microsoft Teams and WebEx would be required
  • Lead compliance and regulatory training for the Ops groups they support
  • 2-3 years of experience in the training field practicing Adult Learning Principles
  • Experience providing Coaching to line managers (UMs)
  • Influence and decision-making ability to make an employment recommendation for a new employee based on training results in consultation with Ops and the L&D Consultant
  • Provide transactional & leadership coaching to Unit Managers
  • Travel may be required
  • Must successfully pass written and road test(s)
  • Provide recommendations to Ops on current employees and whether they can meet job requirements i.e. driver training
  • Provide ongoing input on training programs based on feedback from Operations, HR, and employees to make improvements in training content and processes
  • Required to work varying shifts (days, afternoons, nights, weekends) depending on operational requirements
  • 2 to 3 years experience in a trainer role to front line managers and employees, experience teaching adults
  • Ability to work independently or in groups to achieve training goals
  • A valid non-probationary Driver's License
  • Collect feedback from Employees and Line managers about training and make recommendations for changes in content or process
  • Delivery of in-class/virtual training for front-line operations employees
  • Coach, mentor, and evaluate employees on proper job performance procedures and standards
  • Clean Driving Abstract (please upload a current driver's abstract with your resume)
  • Provide transactional coaching and leadership coaching for Unit Managers
  • Understanding of Adult Learning Principles. A diploma or certificate would be required
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating all training records within the Learning Management System (LMS) for all operations employees that fall within their responsibility
  • Coach, mentor, and evaluate employees on proper job performance procedures and standards, such as practical demonstrations, ride-a-longs (route rides), competency-based evaluations (All operations groups)
  • Completion of Specialized Courses Normally Taught in Community or Recognized Specialty Colleges Consisting of About Three Academic Years - Completion of courses required for recognized certification, diploma, or license
  • Specialized training in Transportation and Logistics preferred
  • Bilingualism is required for roles in Quebec
  • Proven strong presentation skills to a varied audience
  • Other duties as assigned Qualifications
  • Must either attend or have attended Purolator’s Train the Trainer Program
  • Supporting Operations on the job and supporting seasonal trainers
  • Extensive knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, WebEx, and Outlook
  • Must complete/have completed Purolator’s Defensive Driving and Courier Methods and Procedures course
  • Knowledge of Purolator’s Operations procedures would be an asset
