Operational Risk Analyst Jobs

Insight Global is looking for Operational Control Testers to join the team in a remote contract position with one of our largest banking clients. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in risk, audit, compliance, or control testing with the ability to think critically. The successful candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Supporting the implementation of new testing tools and templates as requested to enhance efficiency and sustainability
• Participating in regular status meetings with the internal testing team and business partners
• Ensuring control testing is adequately supported and accurately documented in accordance with the organization's operating model
• Tracking and communicating testing status to ensure established engagement timelines are met; updating internal project trackers as needed
• Supports change management of varying scope and type; tasks typically focused on execution and sustainment activities.
• Clearly and concisely documenting and communicating testing results to management, including identification of root causes and enhancement opportunities
• Performs complex reviews of business artifacts.
• Assisting with the development of control test scripts and planning deliverables
• Executing design and operating effectiveness testing for operational controls
• Participates in planning and implementation of operational testing programs and executes within required service level agreements and standards.

Must-haves

• Strong experience with Microsoft Suite
• Experience assessing internal operation controls
• Ability to think critically and possess strong attention to detail
• 3-6 years of experience in risk, audit, compliance, or control testing

Plusses

• Banking or large financial institution experience
• Certifications including CIA, CRCM or CISA
