Network Technician
Greater Toronto Area

Reporting to the Supervisor, Digital Systems Support, you will support the Business Systems Solution Technical team by providing pre-sales support to Sales and Solutions Consultants regarding software. You will perform installs, support Canon software solutions in the field, and provide IT support for network customers.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Solutions Consultants with pre-sale functions to develop customer solutions and scope of work
  • Install Canon and 3rd Party software solutions for customers and provide support
  • Install and support software in our showrooms
  • Provide network support to customers
  • Provide third-level support to Technicians in the field
To Succeed, You Will Need:
  • In-depth knowledge of all Microsoft technologies, Mac OS, Linux, and Unix to install and connect Canon solutions
  • Excellent equipment operation skills (Canon MFPs/SFPs or other manufacturers)
  • Process and project management skills to develop scopes of work, installation plans, and coordinate with multiple departments and customers
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience troubleshooting network and software issues
  • Valid Microsoft MCSE certification or equivalent or role base Microsoft Expert Certification
  • Post-Secondary education in Electronics or Computer Science
