Position Description

  • Aid the ERP team in database duplication and user creation
  • Ensure adherence to licensing regulations
  • Assist in data management, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity
  • Repair and recover from system or software failures
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all technological infrastructure
  • Interface with external suppliers/contractors
  • Maintain network and system security (On-call as needed)
  • Implement network security protocols to safeguard data, software, and hardware while educating employees about potential risks and protective measures
  • Engage in corporate IT projects and foster cooperation with regional and HQ IT peers
  • Proactively monitor servers and applications to ensure stability and prevent complications
  • Offer timely technical support and advice to internal and external clients
  • Identify and resolve network, hardware, and software problems
  • Reflect the company’s PSIs, work ethic, and commitment to service excellence in all duties and departmental interactions
  • Support the design and security features of the server room
  • Coordinate and contribute to the management of enterprise directory services and the integration of new business acquisitions
  • Resolve issues through investigation and troubleshooting
  • Mentor and nurture junior staff members or interns
  • Implement, manage, and upkeep server hardware, software, and infrastructure amenities following established industry standards
  • Conduct application improvements and relevant testing


Experience

  • Experience with Dell and Cisco Switches, VLAN configuration and problem-solving
  • Knowledge of Virtualization Environments, Microsoft Environments, Active Directory, and Windows Server
  • Experience in designing and implementing IT Infrastructure systems for new and existing locations
  • Proficiency with Meraki Access Points and MX
  • At least 5 years of experience in system and network administration
  • Experience in Microsoft SCCM
  • Experience with mobile device management tools
  • Proficiency in VMware VCenter 7
  • Understand network protocols and technologies, data communication fundamentals and operation
  • Experience with Azure, O365
  • Proficient in Windows system operations and administration, active directory, DNS, DHCP
  • Knowledge of Firewall Management
  • Understanding of TCP/IP Network Protocols
  • Familiarity with Veeam backup solutions
  • Familiarity with SonicWALL NSA series
  • Familiarity with Bitdefender Gravity Zone antivirus
  • Proficiency in VMware Horizon and HP Thin Clients


Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS – EC2, S3, IAM, Cloudwatch, etc.
  • Experience with Storage Systems – DELL Unity and Compellent
  • Cisco certification
  • Experience with monitoring systems – Auvik
  • Familiarity with Oracle
  • Programming abilities
  • Knowledge of Relational Databases (Microsoft SQL, MYSQL)
  • Knowledge of UNIX Based Systems
