We are looking to grow the team!
Are you a motivated individual eager to work as part of a dynamic network operations team? Successful applicants will deploy and operate data networks for mid-enterprise clients in Edmonton Alberta and area. You’ll have opportunities to work on projects and operational environments.
What type of things will you be doing?
- Monitoring of client data network environments
- Evaluate new technologies and deploy proof of concepts
- Troubleshoot client networks
- Firewall deployment and administration
- Deploy IP WAN / LAN networks for mid-enterprise clients.
- Develop and maintain network schematics and documentation
What are our technical requirements for applicants?
- Knowledge of common routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
- One of the following certifications (mandatory, must be current) JNCIP-ENT, JNCIP-DC, JNCIE-ENT, JNCIE-DC
- Knowledge of RSTP and other loop prevention protocols
- Six years field experience in network discipline
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Knowledge of EVPN/VXLAN
Any experience with the following vendors would be an asset:
- Brocade IP Networking
- Redhat
- Ruckus Networks / Wireless
- VMware
- OpenShift
- Fortinet UTM appliances
- Juniper routing and switching
A few other items we need from applicants:
- Ability to learn and adapt to changing environments
- Valid Alberta Drivers License
- Five years with clean driver abstract
- Clear criminal record check
