Select People Solutions is assisting our commercial construction client in their search for an apprentice Carpenter or Ironworker to join their team. The successful candidate must have a background in construction and at least 2 years ironwork or carpentry experience. Candidates must be located in the Lethbridge area, with the willingness to travel between sites. Someone with an enthusiastic personality will do well within this progressive company.

Compensation & Hours

• The rate of pay is based on experience
• Opportunities for overtime
• This is a full-time permanent position, Monday – Friday

Position Summary

• Executing oral and written instructions, interpreting drawings, and various other specifications
• Completing work in a timely manner with a high level of quality
• Accurately use precision measuring tools and instruments
• Analyze blueprints to determine to understand the scope of the project
• Ensuring safety is at the forefront when completing tasks

Required Qualifications

• Willing to travel around Lethbridge
• Physically fit and ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to work in an efficient and skillful manner
• Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task safely
• Must have a valid Class 5 drivers license
• Minimum of 3rd year apprentice status
• 1 year experience in construction, ideally in industrial or commercial
