Purpose and Scope:
Responsible for procuring goods and services to support the Maintenance Department, Repairs and Operations of Stackpole. They are to ensure that the best price, quality, and service are achieved from vendors while continuously searching for cost reductions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Special projects for cost reductions both self-generated and assigned
  • Maintain and organize files on suppliers, special projects and requisitions that are issued
  • Record PM tasks completed in the MRP, file in appropriate Machine folders, order material as required from PM feedback
  • Expedite deliveries where required to ensure that Stackpole production continues to run smoothly
  • Develop Vendor Managed inventory and stocking where appropriate
  • Ensuring the adherence to ISO 45001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, ISO 9001 all Stackpole International policies and any other industry standards in all activities
  • Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support the Maintenance Department through the support and operation of the MRP system
  • Meet with supplier representatives to keep up to date on products and pricing.
  • Obtain quotes from vendors on various products as required by the maintenance and tooling departments to support the efficient operations
  • Ensure that all requisitions have the proper sign off, secure the good or service
  • Negotiate pricing and delivery; follow-up on orders to ensure that they arrive in a timely manner.
  • Order and receive inventory, store goods in proper inventory location, maintaining an orderly and efficient store room. Maintain Min/Max inventory levels
  • Track Work Orders through MRP, file in appropriate Machine folders, and order material as required for Work Order completion
  • Perform other related duties as required
  • Assist with the planning of preventative maintenance work orders as per the PM schedule
Qualifications, Education And / or Experience:
  • Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, at all levels of the organization
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
  • Must be competent with Microsoft Office, MRP, CMS ERP
  • Excellent communication skills required along with good interpersonal and proven organizational abilities
  • Excellent negotiation skills, along with a mechanical aptitude
  • Previous MRO Coordinator experience a must preferably in the automotive industry supporting maintenance
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate purchasing responsibilities
  • College graduate or excellent appropriate experience
