Powell Foundations Inc. (PFI), a member of the Powell Group of Companies, strives to provide clients with all their foundation needs. We specialize in the construction of temporary excavation protection, pile driving, deep caisson shafts, sheet pile cofferdams, noise barriers and overhead sign footings.
- Maintain Locate Tasks & assignments
- Organize and manage all electronic locate documentation, tasks and locate assignments
- Schedule & maintain Private Locates as required
- Coordinate & process Locates with ON1 Call Online and via phone
- Coordinate Locate requirements with project coordinators &/or managers
- Other tasks as required
- Initiate Locates and obtains Ticket# through ON1 Call
- Make call-outs & email to obtain locates in a timely manner
- Assist PM’s with all pre-excavation documents
- Create site sketches & maps using various software programs
- Coordinate requirements and ensure all required documents are received from the various utility companies involved in the excavation
- Strong data entry with speed and accuracy
- Strong spatial/geographic orientation
- Demonstrated experience managing significant document flow required, construction experience ideal
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Positive attitude, work well in a team environment and independently
- University/College education preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Results oriented
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Microsoft Streets and Trips or similar mapping s/w application experience ideal
- Competent with MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel & Outlook
