Licensed Millwright | Mississauga ($10,000 Sign On Bonus)

The Role: PepsiCo has a current opening for a Licensed Millwright

Compensation: $42/hour plus shift premiums, benefits, pension, RRSP contribution and vacation time

Shift: Night Shift (Sunday - Thursday)
Signing Bonus: $10,000
Responsibilities
ONLY RESUMES WITH 433A Red Seal License will be contacted
What you’ll be working on:

• Execute daily assigned work
• Maintenance of site equipment
• Completion of preventive and predictive maintenance inspections and mechanical repairs for all equipment
• Above average troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve issues of high-speed production lines and in a high automation, fast paced environment
• Manage through emergency breakdowns
• Support in root cause analysis and prevention of future downtime events
• Effective communication for shift crossovers, work order feedback, production meetings, and activity coordination between other shift members
• Work collaboratively with operators and other classifications across the site to reduce downtime, safety and quality risks

Who’s a good fit for the team:

• Motivation, positive attitude, high energy and initiative, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge and experience using computerized maintenance management systems for submitting work requests, closing work orders, logging hours and logging spare parts usage
• MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Must currently possess a valid 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright Red Seal license
• Knowledge and Experience of operational process/packaging equipment in the Food and Beverage industry
• Ability to work shift work
• Communication / Computer Skills
• Ability to use machine shop equipment and weld
• Drive for Improvement
• Certificate of Apprenticeship
