Millwright Jobs

We are seeking a driven individual with a passion for the dairy products industry. One of our clients is looking to add a strong Millwright to their team. Responsibilities include:

1) Carry out preventative maintenance on assigned equipment

2) Troubleshoot and repair equipment in breakdown situations to ensure production efficiencies are achieved

3) Provide order requests for parts required for routine and preventive maintenance

4) Carry out equipment installations, modifications and complete equipment changeover, as required

5) Handle troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs, preventative and predictive maintenance plans and spare parts supply room

6) Co-ordinate and oversee contractors, as required

7) Ensure all equipment is maintained properly

8) Ensure the availability of replacement parts for key manufacturing equipment to minimize unnecessary machine downtime

9) Work with other trades groups to complete project assignments and provide training to Plant staff as required

10) Document and maintain all appropriate records

11) Follow all GMPs and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory quality and sanitation requirements

12) Comply and ensure all work is performed safely while following OH&S, WSIB, and company policies and procedures

13) Perform other duties, as assigned

Critical Requirements

1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the dairy products industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in maintenance
